Mamoru Morita

Mamoru Morita was born in 1946. He graduated from the School of Physical education at Chukyo University.

He began learning karate when he was 13 years old under Seigo Tada, the founder of the Goju-ryu Seigokan. At his 19, Morita assumed the role of an instructor at Seigokan Nagoya dojo. His instructional journey continued after graduation, spanning dojos in Seigokan Hong Kong and Macau. In 1973, he coached Hong Kong members at the first Asia tournament in Singapre.
